To Do

I just got back from shooting an assignment in Guatemala for 7 weeks. I feel like I fell into a hole in the universe where I spent a year living in Guatemala while only a short time passed here in Texas. And now I am getting reacquainted with my old life and catching up with old friends.

Texan Wedding

I had a ton of fun shooting this wedding in rural Texas last weekend. The bride and groom are a musician/actor duo and their creativity could be seen in all aspects of the event. In attendance was a great mix of people from Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Texas. Below are some of my favorite photos from the weekend.

An Old Friend

Patrícia was our exchange student from Portugal when I was a sophomore in high school. It had been nine years since she was here, so a visit was long past due. I took this portrait of her in my living room in Chicago.

Ciao Windy City

Yesterday I moved out of Chicago...finally! I had been looking forward to a change of scenery for a long time, but I will miss the city. Especially the grittiness of it, the old buildings and cracked sidewalks. And also the greenery. Next stop: Brazil, then on to Austin, Texas!

I went down to Austin, TX to visit some friends there last month. Clara surprised me with the news that she is five months pregnant! You can't really tell in this picture, but I liked it because she looks so good! I can't wait to meet my fairy god child...
